How to play

Select your JLPT level: N5, N4, or N3.
Choose a quiz type such as kanji meaning, vocabulary reading, or typing.
Answer before time runs out. Wrong answers and timeouts cost a life.
Bookmark items you want to revisit later.
Use the review screen to practice mistakes, bookmarks, or both.

Common questions

How do I review the kanji I missed?

Open the Review screen from the main menu. You can start a session from mistakes, bookmarks, or both.

How do I reset my progress?

Because progress is stored locally on your device, deleting and reinstalling the app resets your saved records.

The app is behaving unexpectedly.

Try force-quitting the app and launching it again. If the problem continues, please email support with the device model and iOS version if possible.

Will more JLPT levels be added?

Future expansions are possible. The current app focuses on making N5 through N3 feel polished and useful first.

Do I need an account?

No. Kanji no Ma works without sign-in, and your progress remains on your device.
